Grape Hyacinth (Species) Broad-Leaved Grape Hyacinth

Muscari - Grape Hyacinths - are small clump-forming perennials with densely-packed short spikes of fragrant deep-blue/purple bell-shaped flowers in Spring. It can be an invasive plant. The flowers can be purple, blue, white or pale pink and most flower in mid-spring for 3-4 weeks. Muscari latifolium is a broad-leaved grape hyacinth. The leaves are unlike it's more common relation, Muscari armeniacum which has mid-green linear leaves. Flowers are lavender coloured bell shaped flowers at the top of the spike and dark purple bells at the bottom.

Planting Bulbs
