Whats going on with the leaves from my spider plant? #spiderplant-advice

Mine did this at the start. My research indicated an irregular watering schedule (too dry or too wet).

They also don't like some of the chemicals in tap water, sometimes it helps to let the water for this set out overnight

@yamh081108 I had this problem too. I added a drip stick for constant moisture and only use distilled water. It's been very happy ever since.

I’m sure it’ll b fine like everyone said there either to wet or dry but I’ve noticed yellow leaves when mine get to dry. They also like to be misted. I always try to read up on my plants but advice is always good too!

rain water not distilled. plants need minerals. keep evenly moist & leach pots to remove excess fert. salts

@moore.794 I never thought about the lack of minerals by using distilled water. I do feed my spider plant. Is that good enough. Besides rain water, what would you recommend.

your probably doing fine. just be prepared with backup if you run out @petitelake
