Time for a update. Been here for 5 years now so the garden is no longer brand new. It’s still windy, it’s still stony and I still have so many plans.
Patience has finally paid off! After 5 years the Oak Leaved Hydrangea that was one of the first plants I bought when we moved here is flowering! Two lovely big spikes 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼#oakleavedhydrangea #hydrangea
That’s so great 😁 well worth the wait too, it’s beautiful 😍
That's a long wait Val. It's very pretty 😊😊❤❤
Incredible!! This is native to my area, Southeast US, yet it looks to be doing beautifully there! Really nice.
The new leaves of the #oakleavedhydrangea are quite furry #foliagefriday
Not seen one like this before 👍 does is have decent flowers?
Expecting white, pinnacle type flowers but I planted it last year and I haven't had any this year @jeatacake , fingers crossed for next year!
I have an ordinary one in my front garden which hasn't flowered either for some reason.
I’ve got this one & the flowers are quite beautiful , mines white 😘@Val jones-hughes
