Eucomis pallidiflora subsp. pole-evansii

The Giant Pineapple Lily - the bulb is actually smaller than some others I have but it should produce big things in time. The flower spikes on these can be well over a metre tall! 😮 I've planted all my eucomis in a mix of John Innes no. 3, mixed with a few scoops of compost, few extra scoops of grit and a couple of handfuls of sand to give it good drainage. All of them are planted up in pots 👍🏼
