Janice I have one oriental lily that is still blooming. It’s usually finished blooming in August but for some reason it only started blooming about 2 weeks ago. I thought it might freeze before the buds finally started to open. But other than that, all my bulbs have finished blooming and are starting to dry up now. Maybe your rain lilies just needed that extra rain you had as they look lovely now.

I have these too. They're such pretty little flowers but bloom so randomly. Mine don't always bloom after a rain but when I do get blooms, it's after a rain.

Katy, your last lily is giving you a special welcome into Autumn. Do you have to dig up your bulbs and replant each year? The rain lilies were not the only plants that enjoyed real sky water. Everything seems a bit greener and happier. 💕 @gjones

Thank you Katy. I was reading a description of this flower and it says it gets the name because it blooms after a rain. I guess a good soak with the hose works the same. 🤣 Well I am enjoying it either way. Julie, I can not even remember the last real good rain we have had. Drought is all we seem to have. 😪 @gjones @juliesgarden

I hope you get a nice soaking rain. We had too much rain in my opinion and it made some of my plants grow huge and gangly. But other plants have flourished and our trees have really put on a lot of new growth. Rain really makes such a huge difference!

They're very pretty💞

These are the flowers of the surprise #bulbs I was #gifted. They are Beautiful! I think they are a Zephyranthes Lily. Anyone know for sure? The difference comes to me in that these had no leaves, just the one bud stalk. 🤔🧐🤨 Scroll over to see the bulb💞

Wow this is crazy but it's the first time I'm seeing your message! Somehow I missed it Janice, I am so sorry! But anyway I think this is the lily they call naked lady, because the leaves come up in spring and then disappear and a few months later it flowers, I have some and they look like this 💘😍
