My late sweet corn actually has sweet corn in there 💚💚 next year I'm sowing more and early! 😊

I grew some this year and picked the last 2 cobs yesterday. Lots more next year with staggered sowing. Nothing like home grown.

Did u do them by seed? I planted mine about 2 months ago and covered them in manure ( prob too much) but I did cheat and buy them as young ones 🙈

Yes from seed they took forever to germinate it took a few goes, next year I won't be late sowing them :) @Hayley.R

My 13 sweet corn plants in the toilet rolls before going in the ground.. I think that layout should be OK for wind pollinating 🤔

I think so as has to be square formation 👍

Is it OK to plant out the sweet corn ? The roots are just starting to show,I know they don't like being disturbed & I don't have any compost to repot at the mo 🤔

wouldn't soak them too long K, SC can rot if too wet. possibly best sown direct with a good watering

Are they going in potting soil? Where they an early variety? eg "early bird"
