I like perennials, house plants, & interesting plants. I would like to get more plants native to my area & that attract butterflies. USDA zone 9a.

#newplant ! I saw these at the super market yesterday and they were all so pretty! I went back today and this was the only decent looking one.😔 All the others were completely brown like the leaf on the left. We have had rain all day. Could the rain cause this? The soil is sopping wet. Will it bounce back or do I need to repot it now? #pinkearthstar #plantrescue

If the soil is as wet as you say it is, I would repot it. These supermarkets tend to soak plants to death. So to play it safe I would pot it in new soil... Inspect the roots while you're at it, remove the brown leaves and some TLC and it should be fine 😉

Thanks @angiie ! I took a look at it a few minutes ago and the pot had no drainage holes! It's been sitting in the rain all day drowning 😠

#oops 😄 Well, a well draining pot and some dry soil should do the trick 😉 You're welcome... Hope it makes a full recovery soon! 👍
