My #avocado has a root, but, that's about it. Nothing growing from the top 🤔 wondering, how long does it take? It's been a good 8-10 wks already

Use three toothpicks to suspend it broad end down over a water-filled glass to cover about an inch of the seed. Put the glass in a warm place out of direct sunlight and replenish water as needed. You should see the roots and stem start to sprout in about two to six weeks.

@crabby58 It looks perfect! It takes time. Give it good light and it will grow. Just change the water every couple days to keep it fresh. If you happen to get mold on it, it's totally fine. Just rinse it off with water and wipe it clean. They are pretty tough or I have been lucky 😊
