This pups like crazy 🤪 I counted at least 10 on mine over just the summer. Mine are in the ground so there’s more room for it to pup. I wish it wouldn’t. 🌞

One of my biggest agave has a ripped leaf. I was moving it to the kitchen to water it and the spikey teeth on the leaf edges got caught on my shirt. Should I cut it off or do you think it'll dry up and drop off on its own?

@gjones I would probably cut it off. They always catch my clothing when I pass by them😄

Thanks Kyle, that’s what I’ll do.

Tell me about it. I have tons of blue agave in my front yard.

You can clip the tips of the spikes with toenail clippers. Nip them as short or as long as you like, they shouldn't grow back.

Looks just like my Agave sisalana! If the leaves are suuuuuper fibrous then that's probably it. Even when the leaves are dead and totally dessicated I can't pull them off like with other agave.
