This pups like crazy 🤪 I counted at least 10 on mine over just the summer. Mine are in the ground so there’s more room for it to pup. I wish it wouldn’t. 🌞

Tell me about it. I have tons of blue agave in my front yard.

You can clip the tips of the spikes with toenail clippers. Nip them as short or as long as you like, they shouldn't grow back.

Looks just like my Agave sisalana! If the leaves are suuuuuper fibrous then that's probably it. Even when the leaves are dead and totally dessicated I can't pull them off like with other agave.
