This will be my first time growing a vegetable plant on my own. I’m keeping inside right now, and I’m using a plant light. Any tips on how to make sure it’s receiving the right amount of light and water?

Welcome to gt hope you enjoy your journey with us all. Lovely #tomatoplant eventually it will need a bigger pot. Are you going to be planting in the ground later or upgrading pots? If in pots will def need water more often. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/growing-tomatoes-guide.htm
I think that I will eventually be moving it to a raised bed in the backyard, but the bed needs a lot of work before it’ll be ready. I’m not sure when it will be okay to transfer it because the weather has been very unpredictable lately.
Look up gardening by zones im zone 8-8b so i might have dif growing conditions than you would @castlofmanyways it helps to know the zone and when you can plant out safely. As long as nights stay above 50f your good on most plants some need day and nights to be warmer tho. Best wishes
