First #harvest and it’s the best tasting #fig I’ve had since plucking one from a tree in the South of France 😋

Yum

Me too - so many this year

Looks lovely, I just looked at my fig and all the leaves are like crisps, oops!!

😱 I hope you’re not too late Sarah 🤞 @sieveheadsarah

The tiny little figs are still holding on Jacqueline, the exact same thing happened last year though, I should know better and keep my eyes on it and even give it more water 🤨

Hang on in there little figs, help is on its way 😉😂 @sieveheadsarah

Well done....👏🏼👏🏼

Thank you! @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Wow that’s amazing 👍🏻😊

11 May 3018 • Look what the postie brought 😊 This is tinged with sadness though, as the one we have already had just made it high enough to get light from over a wall & give us figs, when someone jumped off the wall onto it and broke most of the trunk... OH was so sad this seemed the best solution 😍 #gyo

What a lovely postman you have. Feel a bit sad why you had to buy a replacement ☹☹☹

Your replacement is lovely but so sad that you had to replace your original plant.

I know. Me too Charlotte & Sophie. We had had the other for years from being tiny in a tiny pot but it took a long time for it to reach the top of the wall - and hence the light - and we just didn’t want to have to wait all that time again. I think it will be worth it... @charlotte @Soph1e

Still can't quite believe this grows here...but it does 😊
Just 💛💚🤎 #gyo #figbrownturkey
Great harvest, I just love figs
I bet they’re delicious 😋
That’s just a fraction Joan. It’s been a great year for them! @joannie.a
They are wonderful Sarah, especially when warm from the sun 😋 You have a fig too don’t you? How are yours this year? @sieveheadsarah
Ooh I bet, fresh figs are amazing. I do have one Jacqueline, but it’s in a pot and always suffers in the heat, I’m planning on taking it to the allotment and planting it there 👍🏼😀
I’m sure you already know this but when you plant it you could keep it in its pot but with the bottom cut off as they like to have their roots restricted. Ours is in a corner between two walls, basically planted in rubble and it loves it 🙄😂 @sieveheadsarah
Yum! We have had a good harvest this year too, (those we saved from the wasps! 🙄)
I didn’t know that Jacqueline, but I do know they grow fast and can get huge, I’ll definitely do that, thanks 👍🏼😀
I’m allergic to wasp stings (since last September) and since then we have had 11 nests treated! Maybe that’s why we’ve had such a good year 🤔🙄 @jerseylily
It’s the only thing I do know about them 😂 @sieveheadsarah
@awomanonabike lovely figs, I am envious. Lucky you!
