Brown's Peony is a very rare Californian native Peony, native of the US. It has dark green, broadly dissected foliage and compact wine-red flower buds with greenish-yellow eadged petals. Excellent in a protected spot in the rock garden.

Planting Outdoors

From Early Autumn TO Mid Autumn

Make a hole more than large enough for the plant add plenty of well rotted compost or manure and mix with the soil before planting approximately 2 inches below the surface, water in well.

From Mid Spring TO Early Summer

Peony flowers can be singles, semi double and multi petalled range from white through to red.
