Flower

From Early Spring TO Late Spring

Considered insignificant, the paired pale pink to tan coloured flowers appear in Spring

Planting

From Early Spring TO Late Spring

This is a plant that does well in hot, dry spots in the garden and does best in alkaline soils, both well drained and heavy. It does not do well in wet soils.

Propagating by seed

From Mid Autumn TO Late Autumn

Seed germinate readily, but lose their viability within 1 or 2 years, so it is best to sow seeds soon after they are ready for collection. The optimum germination temperature for germination is around 18-22°C
