Flowering

From Late Spring TO Late Summer

Gilia flower from Spring all through Summer

Propagating by seed

From Early Spring TO Mid Spring

Preferably sow seed in situ, in a sunny, well-draining site, about 2-3 weeks before last frosts. Alternatively sow seeds 2mm (1/8?) deep indoors. In a temperature of 12-18°C (55-65°F) seeds should germinate in 17 - 21 days. Harden off before planting out.

Planting

From Mid Spring TO Late Spring

Harden off seedlings grown indoors before planting out into well-draining soil in a sunny site.
