New Zealand Flax Lily

Dianella nigra, the New Zealand Blueberry or New Zealand Flax Lily, is a clump-forming plant with lush grass-like leaves, looking rather like a Phormium. Although it is called a blueberry. it is grown for its foliage - the pale blue oval berries that appear after the small green-white flowers are inedible.

Propagation by seed
