We have #gourds in Jamaica. We also calk them packi ha ha! They are dried and used to make bags and some people especially the Rastafarians actually eat out of them.
@wesleybrian We grew three kinds of these gourds this year. Have started to make a bird feeder out of a small one and birdhouses out of two larger ones. Once yours has dried more, it'll turn brownish. Then bore a hole towards the lower side and you'll be able to retrieve the seeds.
I just got gifted this Bottle Gourd fruit from a lovely old man 😆
It's a bottleneck gourd!
Thank you! @gjones It's a whopper 😆
Google birdhouse gourds and you will see what people do with them.
What will you do with it 😊
The man said it will stay ornamental if I keep it dry but I'm wondering if I can get seeds from it 🤔 what to do ay? @angiecrazycatlady
@gjones Wow! those birdhouses look very nice 😍
Mmmm tricky one I'd be inclined to get the seeds, I'm sure Google will influence what you do in the end lol 😊😀😁
Haha Definitely @angiecrazycatlady 😂
