@terrimclaughlin yes the leaves are always burgundy, the flower doesn't start blooming until October, so many people grow it for the beautiful foliage 😉

I always trim mine back and never see a bloom. So glad you shared this.

It has great foliage and beautiful rich coloured flowers.

#redshieldhibiscus this one and the cranberry hibiscus confuse me... when you look them up they are both classified as #hibiscusacetosella they have similar colored foliage but different shaped, flowers are 2 different colors as well...😕
