Help me identify this plant

I've always thought of it as a #polygonatum Bottle Brush . A fried gave it to me some years ago, but when I typed it in it didn't appear to be that🤔thank you @justin

Saw this in Garden Answers it's Persicaria Superba , flowers June to Oct, Likes sun or part shade @tiger123
