@gardengimp Mum could never remember the name of the plant (she still can't now!) so she christened it after a friend of mine who ran a plant centre, he often used to give me new plants to try! Several of mum's plants have odd names that only we are aware of!

@gardengimp Yes, she is hilarious! I'll think of her 'alternative' names. Geranium orientaletibeticum is such a mouthful she calls it 'beads' after the nobbly rhizomes! My fave though is my other half mishearing me talking about Agapanthus, now always known as 'Rubber Panthers'! 😂😂😂
