I live at the base of Mt Gravatt mountain in Brisbane. Part of Toohey Forest . A native habitat of flora & fauna. My garden is my peace. View is too.
They really stand out 💚
So delicate and pretty 😍
@kez001uk thanks Kerry
Its lovely but not sure its a crocus but it is definitely not Crocus 'Ard Schenk'
@Hawick1514 it's an Australian crocus but not ard schenk. Picked wrong one from encyclopaedia. Cheers for brining it to my attention
"Storm lilies, autumn crocus or rain lilies are small bulbs in the genus Zephyranthes." http://gardendrum.com/2013/01/13/storm-lilies/
Not sure what type.
Ohhh, I can't grow crocus here at all. So pretty! I'm jealous...
@skellyshelly I never looked after them. They flower when rain is coming.
It must get cold enough there for them to grow. That doesn't happen here...
