Mid April and the #chives are getting ready to bloom. 20 Apr 2022 #alliumschoenoprasum #tripplebrookfarm #edible #ediblelandscaping

I love this herb. It’s super easy to care for. It cares for itself. Trimming back encourages new growth. It’s never ending, I love it. I’ve had mine for three years and it’s still going strong.

I put some #garlic-chives in the same pot as my regular #chives and now the garlic chives have seeds! Yay! 7 Oct 2021 #edible #herb #gyo

#chives from #tripplebrookfarm coming along nicely along with two #fromseed chives that got munched down to the roots last season by some mystery critter. #ifitwantstoliveitllfight 8 Apr 2021 #alliumschoenoprasum

Last of my #tripplebrookfarm plant purchases, simple #chives -- I'd tried to grow them from seed this year but some critter kept digging them up and then chomping off any growth so I decided to buy them rather than face another year of waiting for chives. Planted in a container so they don't get everywhere. 16 Dec 2020 #alliumschoenoprasum #herb #perennial #ediblelandscaping

Merry Christmas 🎄❄️🏂😊 have a great weekend

Love chives too
Are these no good to eat when they flower?🌞
@sunlovin hasn't stopped me! I'm letting them flower because I want them to make seeds and spread. I still use the leaves all year & haven't noticed any difference in taste.
@sushiwaitress Ok thanks. I’ve had them for years but never knew when I was supposed to eat them. Lol. 🌞
