As far as I know succulents can also grow by leave. The trick is to break leaves from bottom and close to the stem as well. You basically twist it of. You then wait 3 days for the leaves to collouse over. You then lay them in soil and take a spray bottle and mist it over the leaves, ensuring that ONLY top part of soil is always moist
