Lupinus 'Persian Slipper'

First signs of growth on this lupin, young leaf covered in silvery hairs cupping the rainwater #macro. Hairs help with reflecting light and slow down water loss. Hoping for same show as last year 🙏 #lupin-persianslipper

This will be the first year I'm trying to grow from seed Yash. I have 3 lupins in garden, seeds collected last year and sowed 4 weeks ago, seeds no show yet 🤔. Like Elaine mentioned it's highly unlikely they will flower this year but sow now definitely for next.. @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom @kaporyash

Morning All 🌞, beautiful sunny day here.... I can't believe how this one has developed. Flower measures 13 inch tall and 4inch diameter it may not be bulky in Lupin world but so impressed. (Sad I know, had to get tape measure out). My first ever garden Lupin and so pleased with it. Have a fab day.. 💜
