There's gonna be a lot of berries this summer, can't wait!! #blackberry #gyo

Too bad they won't grow here ( well not that would make it thru a cold winter).

That is too bad!! I make wine and a berry jam/spread with all my berries. @gjones

Love to eat blackberries, but in our area they are a nusence growing into huge mounds stretching vines 20 - 30ft long in one season. Finding a small vine in your yard is not a happy experience. So for one month they redeem themselves with their yummy fruit

Wow, thirty foot vines, I had no idea they got so big!! @momasherri

The mound can get to the size of a shed. The vines die in the winter then in the spring they send up new vines over the old so the mound keeps growing

They also send out underground shoots. They are pretty hard to get rid of once established.

Yes they are!! I do battle with them every spring and fall.

The bees and other bugs were really digging the blossoms yesterday afternoon. #bee #blackberry #macro #white

so nice to watch them 🐝

It's good to see them in large masses, they're not as common as they used to bee @columbiariver

They're here though! We haven't completely ruined them. I have hope they will repopulate. We have many, many of them this year. Delightful bees 🐝
