Hi all. I’m new to buying succulents online & received my first delivery yesterday. Can you tell me if this is how they’re supposed to arrive? I can add more photos of the others as the pups were broken off most 😩. This was $8 & I’ve wanted one for so long. #help @Muzz67 @brightcolours @rosegardengirl @sinsarah @petalsnthorns They took a week to arrive & were at the post office over the weekend

I love this one, it’s on my list! I guess this is the bit that sucks about buying online. It looks like it’s been without water and sun for a while but there’s a good chance it will come back to life. Have you sent the seller a message? It shouldn’t have taken that long to arrive.

I haven’t yet @sinsarah because I wasn’t sure. I mean I didn’t think it looked right. The others were a bit crushed & broken. I’ve got them all sitting in some nice succulent mix in the sun atm (lucky no rain so far today 🙄) I just wanted to get some feedback first being a newbie. Thanks for responding ☺️. I’ve got more coming but I’m confident with them as she has a great rep 🤞🏼

None of the succulents I have bought online have looked this beaten up

I think it'll come back and be OK. But it would of been very disappointing. I just had a delivery arrive last week that was in the mail for 8 days. But it was my fault I chose standard shipping instead or express shipping, I didn't realise standard shipping would take so long to arrive. They were OK thankfully, but one was looking similar to this one in your photo. Just give her a drink once you've potted her up.

It does seem they could of packed them better if lots of them were broken and crushed @RozH

Just checked dates. Purchased 10th, posted 17th, arrived 23rd

They are very beautiful plants, I hope they come good. I think they will be OK. If the end of the stalk where the plant has broken off looks fresh and raw, leave it on soil for a couple of days before planting. If it look dried and scarred over, plant it ☺
