Lots of #tulbaghia flowers, it’s been flowering non stop since early May! Variety 'Cosmic' is in the foreground, with yellow centres, the variety on the background with hazel coloured centres is called.... Hazel!
Thanks Chris and Elaine - I wasn’t sure how they would look as a friend gave them to me but they can def stay 😄 @midnightgardener @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
Sorry for only coming back now Leslie, just so busy with work right now 😔 - Society Garlic is great, I managed to get some of the purple one over the summer. Need to find a home for it somewhere, and you’re right they flower for such a long time! @lesliecole49
Some Tulbaghia given to me by a garden club friend last autumn, cultivar 'Cosmic' - I’ve been reading up on these and some are fairly hardy. We shall see how they do in Hertfordshire 👍🏼 #tulbaghia #tulbaghiacosmic
Certainly got me interested Sue - there is a national collection in Wales, so I’m thinking if they can grow them there it must be ok for us over here? @suerichards
Hi Val, no this is an ornamental - I’m growing it just for flowers. Tulbaghia flowers are like mini agapanthus flowers. I’ve seen the wild garlic before I think, I’m sure they have lots of it at college 🤔 @valjones-hughes

@richard.spicer.7906 ......... Love the foreground flower ..... a real little treasure.
I have a society garlic also, tho not this variety. It too has been a steady bloomer since early spring. I'm very happy with that purchase
