Bergamot, or Monarda 'Cambridge Scarlet' - doing well in my partial shady spot. So far, fingers crossed 🤞🏼not a sign of powdery mildew anywhere. I've been keeping the soil moist in this spot #bergamot #monarda #monardacambridgescarlet
Me too Rachel 😊, I've always been amazed by these flowers. I remember you posting when you got your white one, and would be really keen to see what it looks like. I'll have to make sure I don't miss any of your post updates on it 👍🏼@rachelbrooks
Morning! 🙋🏽♂️☕️ - more tidying up today on my todo list and I may be planting some bits too. More catchup pics to follow too. Hope you all have a good day. Here is a pic of my #Monarda - suffered a little bit with powdery mildew a few weeks back but looking better now #red #bergamot #monardacambridgescarlet
Thanks, and a wave back at ya @latebloomer 👋🏼 - glad you like the monardas. It's one of my fave varieties although is more susceptible to mildew than others. Feeling lucky I got away with it this year.
No sign of powdery mildew yet on my Monarda - no doubt it will come at some point this year. This particular variety is quite prone to it. Looking forward to the flowers in the meantime 😁 #bergamot #monarda #monardacambridgescarlet
Missed having some of this in the garden since I moved house a few years ago. Part of my bargain purchase last month. They have very aromatic leaves, and super looking flowers. Just need to try and keep the powdery mildew at bay, which unfortunately this particular one is quite prone to. Fingers crossed #bergamot #monarda #monardacambridgescarlet
