I forgot I had this - will be the first time I see it flower. I don't think they are significant flowers, and I'm more interested in the berries that develop later. 🤓

Oooo interesting! Another 'never seen before' for me! Don't you just love the things you learn of the plant kingdom! Awesome!! Yes please. Would love to see the berries too.....

The flowers are not hugely spectacular but the reddish bracts around them are more noticeable.

Definitely @emmalaws - always learning something new everyday 🤓. Will definitely post another pic when the start developing.

I saw one at Hyde Hall last weekend which had much redder flowers than mine, whereas last night I found a couple of tiny yellow flowers had already dropped off. I'll try catching these pair as they come out and post another pic in a few days @tiggrx

The flowers on mine are red & yellow, I'll post a picture.

New member to the garden. Apparently I have already missed the flowering period so looking forward to seeing it flourish next year. Now, where to plant it is the next decision!?
12/06/19 - this shrubby honeysuckle often goes unnoticed in my garden, and I dont often take photos of it but it’s currently covered in these twin black berries and red bracts right now. The flowers are often missed as they are small, but yellow-red in colour. It’s got to a nice size now of about a metre tall. Also commonly called the Californian Honeysuckle or Twinberry Honeysuckle
