31/08/19 - last one tonight, off to get dinner now 🥘 - not a native but you can’t go anyway around our hotel without seeing these Chinese or Tropical Hibiscus shrubs (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis). They are growing hundreds of these for cut flowers to decorate the rooms daily. Seems a shame really but there are tons of flowers on each Shrub so it’s not spoiling the plants look too much 👍🏼 🌺

It is 😊 - they don’t last long mind you and usually wilted by the time you get back from evening out, but it’s nice to come back to them in the afternoon @rachelbrooks

Thanks Sharon, yes this is not Rose of Sharon, but a different more tender species of Hibiscus. You can grow them in a conservatory or glasshouse in the U.K., but they are not hardy outdoors back home. Dinner was good 😋 @sharonhayden
