Galanthus nivalis 'Blonde Inge'

04/03/19 - Snowdrop Update - Ok, most of the snowdrops came and went very quickly over the last two weeks but I haven’t posted pics for most of them yet. So just imagine it’s still February for a bit 🙄, 'Blonde Inge' is an unusual but recognisable one as it’s a yellow one, but it has retained a green ovary, where as many of the other yellows have a yellowish ovary too. Counted four flowers this year 👏🏼👏🏼

How many different varieties have you got?

I think I have about 20 cultivars and species at the moment. May have more after Tuesday as I’m off to a show to shop for me 🙈🤭 @kathy

There are a few around @Kathy, but as @tiggrx suggests they can a bit expensive. This one wasn't too bad, £12 for a pot. I have to confess I went spent a little more on another one (called Wendy's Gold, which has a yellow ovary) but I see it as an investment for the garden. I have what I want for now, well maybe till next year anyway 😂
