Dahlia 'Lorona Dawn'

Earlier in the year I stocked up on some new dahlias from my fav local specialist. All purchased as cuttings in April. Had a disaster with them in late May (🐌) but they have recovered well. This is one of the first to flower. Very pleased 😁, I'm favouring more the single varieties over others purely for pollinators benefit, but I have treated myself to a couple of others just for display.

Bonjour Richard, Enchantée, Lorona Dawn, 😉 I love these, I had orders a black one for this season but looks like they sent the wrong one. I've a giant tree dahlia 🙈😳🤔 not sure if you have noticed but these will follow the sun, it's amazing to watch plus they close they petals during the night, just amazing to watch 'I know I need to get out more' have a great day.

This is so beautiful and so unusual. Simplicity does sometimes trump big showy specimens. Magical 👌🏻👌🏻
