28/05/19 - cataloguing propagation updates- also 3 out of 3 for Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Ericoides', another conifer which turns reddy-purple over winter. This is apparently due to the production of a natural antifreeze to help it survive the coldest periods of the year.
Thanks Belinda 😊, was surprised myself by just how much root had formed already. I’ve found them notoriously difficult in the past, as it’s been a regime of keeping on heat, take off heat, put back on... sometimes there is a risk they just callous over and don’t form any roots @belindah
