21/02/19 - Succulent Update - the winter colour of this Aloe is amazing, compared to the lime green colour it is normally. Aloe rauhii 'Demi', was already a fairly good size when I bought it but it’s grown so much, and flowered twice in just 12 months 😳 there were four in the original pot when I bought it, and I’ve since separated them off. Might make a big pot of them in the summer 🤔 #aloe #aloe-rauhii #aloerauhiidemi #succulent

It’s very interesting Deanna 👍🏼 @ladeebug - I’ve watered it this week so I expect it will slowly turn back to lime green

It’s very dramatic, hadn’t realised it would turn quite as pinky orange as this Sherri 🧡💓 @sherrisgarden

This was an lucky find at my garden centre, but it does have a very good houseplant section, best I’ve ever seen in the UK. Thanks Charmaine 😊 @Scratchycat13

Any Aloe experts out there that can help me? This lovely thing was a purchase back in January from the GC and it was labelled as Aloe rauhii ‘Demi’. However, when I got home I couldn’t find any info about it so I wonder if it was mislabelled. I’ve already separated 3 lots of offsets so I now have four. This is the biggest and I’m pleased it’s just about to flower 😊 #aloe #succulent #aloe-rauhii #aloerauhiidemi

It's the real ID. Aloe rauhii, aka Snowflake Aloe. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe_rauhii

@richard.spicer.7906 it is mentioned in Wikipedia. Common name 'Snowflake Aloe'. Not sure how to copy and paste the link. Search: wiki, aloe rauhii #aloe-snowflake

Shanks Pony Gardener (@andy_vauxhall) was tweeting about aloe the other week. Do you follow him? Quite an extraordinary little nursery in a car lot in Vauxhall. He also gardens the public spaces in and around Vauxhall in association with Vauxhall One xx

Excellent - thanks @DonNotDonny @Annettenoosa - good to have a second opinion. Looks like there is one in the database already and for now I'm gonna assume 'Snowflake' is not a cultivar name 😊👍🏼
