They've produced really well! Are the bottom two ready to pick now?

@gjones yh they were ready we already ate them. I didn't like the taste of it. it's like pumpkin texture with no taste

I’ve never tasted one but it sounds like they would be quite bland

@gjones well I was wrong. I tried a really rippen one and it tastes sooo sweet and the texture is so soft.

It looks like you should get lots of fruit!

@gjones yh i am.but i don't know should i let them fruit or remove them. bcz usually papaya have only one tranck and this one have one mine and 4 extras and all have sooo many fruits and still producing more and non rippen yet they say first year take up to 8 to 10 months to rippen. what u think should i remove them and cut the branches?

@racha I haven't ever grown papaya so I can't give you any good advice. If you've had advice to remove them, then I think that's what you should do. Is there someone else that lives near you that you could ask what is best to do? Perhaps these people will be able to help. @treefrog44 @novicegardenlover @lovestogarden

@gjones unfortunatly no only me is growing this tree

@sharonhayden can you help? I have only bad luck with a papaya. @gjones

Wow thats awesome how long until the fruit is ripe @racha

@topiarytragedy it's my first time growing it but from google it says it need six to nine months

I had a small papaya tree but we don't usually have the heat/sun for a long enough period to get it to fruit here in the UK. Your very lucky 😁😁😁 @racha

@topiarytragedy ohh i understand heat is the key we had 6 of them all died because of the rain and we wrongly put it them in the shade. thank god this one survived this is her second fruit the first ones didnt grew big an they fell off and rotten bcz of rain. i hope these grow enjoying the heat

I hope so 😁 they look amazing. Will you save any of the seeds @racha ?

@topiarytragedy definitley am planing to plant more and give it to my friends

That's a lovely idea @racha I expect you get lots of seeds from just one fruit.😁
