When the sun is shining and the sky is blue there is only one place you will find me.....in the garden. I have always had a great love for plants 😊

Such a beautiful flower and I love how the long stems pop out between other plants giving spots of red dotted about. 😊🙏🏼👍🏼

It's very pretty. We have wild or native avens growing in our creek area. I wonder if they'd transplant into my garden🤔 we have to be careful when transplanting wild flowers into a cultivated space as they tend to take over!

@gjones are you allowed to take wild plants where you live? It’s illegal in the UK. 🤔🙏🏼👍🏼

It depends on the plant. There are some that are protected and we're not allowed to disturb. Others are plentiful and not protected. We own 14 acres of natural undisturbed prairie and there are many native plants growing there. A few are avens, crocus, prairie lilies, bergamot, liatris, anenome, roses, blackeyed susan, trillium, saskatoonberry, chokecherries, hawthorn and many more. A great place to enjoy nature.

Love Geums as they can wind their way through plants and just pop up somewhere in the border a little red beauty.
