Glad you found it! Now I have a dilemma whether it would be safe to repot mine in fresh compost. Last year I didn't have compost so I planted it in garden soil. I think I will replant it today 🌞😎

That's great! Bleeding heart is such a welcome sight, especially that it will be another year or so before my camellia or rhododendron will be in flower.

@jacaranda It's a lovely day outside so I'm doing a spot of garden shopping and then some repotting.

Jane, I think I will leave it as it is. You spurred me to have another look on the rhs website and I forgot that bleeding heart is well suited to clay soil and can handle even poorly drained soil. 👍👍

I moved mine too last autumn and the stalk has just recently snapped off. I’m just hoping there is something under the soil but it doesn’t look good Sue @susanhumphrey333 😟😟
