A bit of a fuzzy pic, but my first one fully open this year 💜💜 #fritillaria-meleagris-snakeshead #fuzzypicture #spring-bulbs #love-it 25/3/19

Love how they start out thin and spindly and then plump up nicely! 😀

They take their time though Ian, mind you, if I see a bud I expect it to be open the next day. I'm not impatient, honestly @bigemrg 🙄🙄

Hehe! I always like to think they're munching on the Daffodils as they seem to disappear as the Fritillaries get larger! 😁 🐍🐍🐍

I'm the same @pelly no patience at all.

👍🏻😀

Pretty sure mine were either eaten or drownd. 😣

Sorry to hear that Leslie, they’re such a lovely addition to the spring garden @lesliecole49 😢😢

Nearly there! 🐍 😉

I hope so @telswirld 👍👍

Thanks Jane, I've a long way to go before I actually have much of a garden, so if not this year, maybe next year. Try and try again.

A garden is never finished Leslie @lesliecole49 👍👍

Can’t wait to see these, they are so beautiful. 😍😍

I thought that said snakes head fertility 🤭😉

Oh er missus @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom 😂😂

Are you sure Jane? They look more like daffs. I’ll post a picture of mine...

Well I thought that Jacqueline, but my plant label says Fritillary so I just assumed this was them, maybe they’ve not come up yet and I have got daffs in this area. My defence is that I’ve never grown them from bulbs so I don’t know what I’m looking for. 😂😂

I agree look like daffs Jane

Thanks Jayne, I realise that now, I think it was just wishful thinking. I've not grow them from bulbs before so I didn't know what I was looking for, and as they are planted in this area I just assumed they looked similar @jaynehynesburton 👍😘

Couldn't resist this one either 😍😍😍

I can see why😍💟💟💟

A favourite of mine Jane 👍👍👍

Well everybody else seemed to have them, and to be honest, being a newbie to gardening, I didn't know anything about them, but after seeing them over the last few weeks on here I just had to get one Susie @susieg 😂😂😂

It's definitely an eye catcher 😍💜

So beautiful Jane

🤗👍🤗👍🤗 well I don't blame you Jane. GT is great for introducing people to new and lovely plants 💕

Just love them 👌🏼💜

One of my favourites 😍💜💜❤
