I find plants from the upper Midwest. An avid gardener. Scavenger. Love to grow flowers, cucurbits, and all kinds. Zone 5a. I'm on Flickr.

Help me identify this plant. I found it in Northern Kentucky growing wild. There is a lot of growth, in the suburban sense and I'm afraid it might be rare.

Possibly Moth Mullein (Verbascum blattaria)?

Thanks. It seems to fit! It says moth mullein is invasive to the US and comes from Eurasia and North Africa. It's a shame because it's so pretty. Let me know for any more suggestions.
