@cyndi I have never been a tea person but I have been making chamomile tea, experimenting with the mints with a little lemon and honey and it is sooooo good. It is potent too. It kicks in pretty much immediately and I would recommend only really drinking it if you are cool with going to sleep immediately after haha. My husband who has had dried chamomile teas says that he has never had commercial chamomile tea affect him in such a way. I do drink a small cup around noon time to help with anxiety
because I am just anxious enough that if I'm busy, it won't knock me out. Just kinda calms and relaxes. I hope you are able to get loads of seeds. I am definitely going to try to save some this year too @cyndi
Youll love it next winter. I had 5 plants last summer lauren. I dont know if i did it correctly, but every time they were knee high i chopped them down and dried it. I got 4 good cuttings and enough tea for my daughter and i for winter. Its so good. Im trying a different variety this year along with the german.
@columbiariver I’m gonna wing it haha. I do believe I might invest in a dehydrator this year. I don’t think I’ve ever actually had chamomile tea but I am growing these for tea reasons. I read that it’s kind of sweet is that true? @sushiwaitress Ruth it was this year that I realized they were flowers LOL
