baught this today. First time buying a climber ( still learning) cant wait to watch this grow. Does any of my fellow gardeners know if #clematis grows quick?

It’s gorgeous 😍 think Montana clematises grow very fast and some can get very big too! Not a bad thing when it flowers like this 🤍

Yeah, they grow fast and they can easily cover a whole fence panel or two or a garden shed.

Hi guys. this #clematis is a week old and some petals have fallen off. can anyone advise do I prune them off once petals are off. still new to all of this lol
You can deadhead as the flowers die or you can leave them, I think they are attractive
yeah I love the flowers, I think there really pretty but there are some stems there where all the petals have fallen off so wondered if I had to cut them back or just leave
