Ooh wow! @mrsflowerpot May I ask, is it in a greenhouse? And what area of the country? I have a grape vine in West Yorkshire but wasn’t/still not sure if I’ll get anything edible from it...?

Hi Alice @bentobox I’m in Barnsley South Yorkshire. The vine is very old and is in an unheated greenhouse. The main trunk of the vine is inside but the bottom of the trunk and roots are outside so that it gets free access to water.

Ah ok cool, thanks for your reply @mrsflowerpot Mine is in a very sunny spot against a wall and it has tiny bunches of unripe grapes so I’m going to see if they ripen to anywhere near sweet!! No idea what variety it is

If it doesn’t rain very much where you are I would suggest giving it a good water every now and again if the soil gets dry so that it give your fruit a good chance to plump up. Also watch out for the dreaded wasps attacking the fruit as it ripens. @bentobox 🍇🍇🍇

Thanks so much @mrsflowerpot I did try to water it regularly during the dry spell and other than that we get lots of rain 😞 I’ll just have to see how they go ☺️🍇 watch this space 😂
