Euphorbia lactea 'White Ghost'

Is it just on one side? I don’t usually stress over the euphorbia, all in eastern exposure and none have had problems. Mine aren’t so fair skinned though, I have a tortilis and a couple milk trees. @mauspad thought on sunburn?

It looks like a healed over scar .. maybe something like a slug/snail was eating at it ?
