This semiwild species tulip is just 2-3” high, a tiny jewel 💎

My first time growing this early-blooming, cold-hardy species tulip. The newly opened flowers have a violet eye with a pinkish edge, fading with age to a cool gray, yet always with snow-white petals. The long-lasting flowers close at night and reopen in the morning. Especially striking against dark foliage or dark mulch. Highly recommended!

These are tiny semi-wild tulips, just 4” to 6” high ... just the right scale at the feet of a small shrub, such as boxwood.
