I'm an amateur plant lover in Calgary (4a) who got hooked on succulents a few years ago. Having fun learning and experimenting. Loving the challenge.

Progress photo, I think the outdoor #happybean is starting to flower? Maybe?
Looks like a flower to me!
Progress photo, unlike their parent plant these offshoots seems to adapting well enough outdoors.
Progress photo, another poor soul the sun had its way with unfortunately.
It's babies look quite a bit healthier but maybe he'll recover😊
Progress photo first day outside 2019
Progress photo, all the offshoots a repotted a few weeks ago seem to be established in their new pot now. I don't know what I'm going to do with all these beans but I get the sense this and the other pot will be more then I can handle come fall.
I pruned mine back so each stem produced new leaves. It looks a lot fuller and is a lot more stable now. Repotted the tops for my granddaughters.
Indeed @gjones they'd definitely make great gifts. Maybe I'll have to give some away before the fall.
Had to seperate (unintentionally) the #happybean hopefully it does alright
Progress photo, cut quite a bit out today
This thing is getting way larger then I was ever prepared for. May have to seperate him or repot soon.
Wow! He really is 'happy' and healthy! I bought one about 3 months ago but yours is about twice the size of mine.
Give it time, this guy grew way faster then I thought he would. He's not even 6 months old.
Top down #happybeanplant
Plant maintenance day, repotting the happy bean.
New additions number 3
