Philodendron scandens

This is my most ignored, yet healthiest, most wonderful plant I have. She just sits there on her little swing above the kitchen sink minding her own business as I do mine. We make small talk every now and then. She answers back with overnight growth spurts. Today she woke up with long arms reaching, or maybe legs to swing better. Or to come get me for not watering her idk we’ll see I guess. Lol. But magical this sweet plant is. #heartleafphilodendron #succulove #houseplant #philodendron

My little #heartleafphilodendron has really had a growth spurt now that it’s living in my kitchen! I have it above my sink and it’s loving the small fluorescent sink light above it. This is after I had to trim some cuttings. It could have been chopped a little more but I’m just gonna let it grow. It'll climb that brick wall if you let it. Mine actually climbed a glass door. They have little sticky pads.

@lesliecole49 how cool! I didn’t know they grew with the little pads. This one is just sitting above my sink on a shelf.

I didn't either until I tried to pull it off the glass! Good thing they propagate easily!
