OMG - once I had one, and then it became two, three, five, ten... 😱 I had to get rid of it!

@inuit that’s what I fear! This isn’t a plant I purchased. I received it as a bonus in a box of cuttings 😜

I think it's Devil's Backbone. Watch for pups on the leaf edges!

@angiie Is this the same as the one you have? The leaves look similar😊

#devils-backone or as we call them in Ireland #crocodile-plant so cool as they carry their young on the plants

It looks like Kalanchoe Houghtonii to me. The one I have is K. Laetivirens @gjones 😊

@gjones ... Could even be Pink butterflies. They both have the same leaves.

@angiie You seem to know them very well. Just a question: how do you differ between K. houghtonii and K. daigremontiana? As there are so many misidentifications on the internet, I wasn't able to find that out yet 🙈😅

Oooh no... Not at all @natii 😄😄 Actually, mine was first identified as K. Daigremontiana... Learned later on that is K. Laetivirens. Kalanchoes aren't that simple to ID because of the vast variety with similarities. Going to post something and tag you 😉

My horticulture teacher called it mother of millions/mother of thousands (Kalanchoe daigremontiana) If it's the plant I think it is, it'll grow small leaves which reproduce like crazy, so keep it away from your other plants if you don't want it spreading to your other pots/plants. Indoors, it doesn't flower.

Since it's been 4 weeks, not sure if it's too late for a response 😬
