Another of my favourite fruits! We only get them in the grocery stores from December to March but we buy some every year. How long will it take for you to get a fruit that's ready to pick?

The first #fruit ! One #pomegranate has continued to mature. All the other fruit/flowers looks to have dropped. Still small, but growing. #punica #punicagranatum #pomegranate-fruit #anticipation #southerncalifornia 14 September 2021

I bought a little Pomegranate Bush a few months ago, I think it must have died pretty quick, need to scrape a bit of bark see if there's any hope?

Love pomegranate! It's looking good too. How old does it have to be to produce fruit?

5w
comment
lovestogarden

@gjones it is about a year old now and it had one flower earlier this year, but I knocked it off while pruning. I am not sure if it would have held anyway, but I am hoping next spring the blossoms will hold and in a year I plan fruit. ❤️

Thank you for sharing this 😕. It was it's first and only flower. I guess fruit will have to be next year, which is probably better for it's growth. @cyndi @juliesgarden @mollyocean @niching @haleyt901 ❤
