Prolific blooming this year! #billbergia #flower #billbergia-windii #tropical #southerncalifornia #california 5 March 2019

Do ur angel tears bloom more than once a year-per plant?? I didn’t get one bloom this past summer. I’ve had them for about 7 yrs. the bloom probably not called a bloom but they are so colorful and unique but am I lacking feeding them. Do u know I read up about them and they said one bloom per year. Well I have had none per year. Any tips or suggestions. They can’t stand this sun directly but they get filtered afternoon sun. Help I want mine to bloom like urs 🤣😂😘👍🏻👍🏻😊💕

So Gorgeous !!!!! Happy plant.

@terrimclaughlin - Oh, Terri, I can only tell you what I know. My Mother likes her plants small and will break them up into thirds each year. I always take her extras and keep unless spoken for. This pot is full of quite young plants and old removed. I think this helps them. Each specific plant only blooms once and then puts out a pup. I keep mine with only morning to mid-day sun. It probably dries or almost between waterings. I hope this helps. 💞

Thxs and yes it helped I thinned mine in the fall and separated them into two groups I took a lot of pups. So hopefully it’ll help. Thxs again 😊

Lovely flower

What a stunning plant Janice 😍👌🏼

So unusual and beautiful

I have to agree. This is one of the most beautiful flowers. 📷 does not do it justice. @sherrisgarden @cyndi @plants @richard.spicer.7906 @gjones 💞

My pleasure @terrimclaughlin. I hope it pushes yours into action. You may give it a feeding too. 💞

@cyndi, I think someone with a better 📷 surely could. 😉 😊

This is really stunning Janice
