Just started our first garden from a wild, overgrown jungle of grasses & weeds...really caught the bug fast & would love some advice along the way!

So...anyone have experience buying plants via the Internet, and, how surprised should I be that I paid £9.95 for this Sambucus Nigra (black tower) -pictured on the left (!) and received this poor monstrosity on the right?!!

Oh my😯 is it even the right plant? What is their refund policy? Another reason to support your local #supportyourlocalgreenhouse #supportyourlocalgardencenter #supportyourlocalnursery good luck! 😘

@tinaaune I could have cried! Sadly, we don't drive and the closest nursery isn't on a bus route so we're stuck with tesco at the moment!! *blush* This was from 'staffsmoor nurseries' via ebay. She did acknowledge it was the worst delivery she'd ever seen and advised me to keep it outside for a few days to see if it "revived"!! Lesson well and truly learned!!

Wow?!?!? I don't think the words nursery and eBay mix, although I'm sure there are a few that have it right😘

That's the main reason I stopped buying plants online. Hardly ever I got the right plant and in a good condition so I'd rather go to Wilko or Poundland 😅 At least if it's not what I wanted it never costs me more than £3 😁

Honestly, it looked like it had been transported upside down. Half the soil was weighing down the leaves and the main stem was bent into a sharp curve where it'd been stood on it's top by the looks of it! Actually, it HAS come round somewhat, but do you think I should pursue some form of compensation?? Maybe a replacement?! @ukblaszko @tinaaune
